In Anna Sgroi’s kitchen, everything revolves around highest calibre raw materials. Sustainable sources and ethical husbandry are therefore of elementary importance. And technical appliances, while often useful aids in emphasizing the natural glory of the ingredients she selects, are never an end in themselves.
Born in Sicily, Sgroi is influenced by regional Italian cooking traditions, which she reinterprets to give them a contemporary flair.
